Howl-o
at the Castle of Muskogee '07
Wrap-Up
Report
Thanks to all of you howlers for attending
Howl-o shows in the Glen! Thanks again to Master Guitarist Terry
for bringing his most excellent energy and talent to the shows.
Thanks to everyone for coming to our show at the Scottish Celeidh
where once again we had a great night of romping-good music!
Good ol'
buddy Byron Bear was
loveable and very well behaved as always(except for the occasional
foray into the trashcans!). Thanks to Beth for drumming with
us the first two weekends. We are always honored to play with
Desert Wind Belly Dancers at opening gate, or anywhere else!
Thanks to Smee of Smee
and Blogg for joining us for some killer vocals!
And of course to all of our old (and new) friends who came and
enjoyed the shows ~
we appreciate you!
Kids
Day was very rewarding as many children found their voices again,
and sang along with Howl-o.
Many of our mates sailed in Mother's Day Weekend and enjoyed
repast in the Glen. Some dancing going on, which is always encouraged
here. Thanks to Zoe, the friendliest Pub Wench in the
Shire, for doing such a great job at the Red Ram Tavern.
One more word of thanks to Nancy
Daily-Green, whom we have the delight of alternating sets with
at the Tavern in the Glen. She is such a joy to listen to with
her hammered dulcimer and Irish Tunes, she verily brings a lilting
sound to this stage in the forest.
If you
haven't been to The Castle at
the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival, you are missing what is truly
one of the best renfaires in existence. It is big enough that it would
take days to see everything, yet it is still friendly, and the cast
is very interactive. This cast is consistently dazzling from
year to year, they are at once both endearing and amazing!
